Business Online – The Art Of Effortless
They may quickly draw conclusions that these search engines are a lot like phone books or dialing information on the telephone. They will likely be further astounded when they discover they can make a purchase on line and then marvel when the package arrives with the item they wanted. At this point they may be hooked on the idea that they can shop from the comfort of their home without long lines, rude people and clerks that don't smile. Every online business owner would love to have a majority of customers who are new and excited about online shopping.
What they do know is they needed something and they found it quickly on your site by using a search engine. Since the majority of web users begin their online exploration using a search engine it makes sense to work to develop your Internet business by using methods that get you noticed by both customers and search sites.
There is a growing number of web users that have some idea of techniques associated with marketing a website, but for most the world of online marketing is a bit like addressing someone in a foreign language. It makes little sense to them and they honestly aren't all that interested. Perhaps the biggest problem is when a new Internet business owner doesn't take online marketing seriously. When a business owner tries to simply market their website the same way they might market a brick and mortar store they really miss the point of owning a business online.
Their strategies will likely be to promote the website on business cards and local and regional advertising. Don't get me wrong, these are great offline strategies, but they do nothing to tap into a global marketplace because they only customers finding you are the ones that have been handed a card or received a key chain in your immediate region. In ballet the movements are fluid and the lifts are effortless.
These athletic dancers can do this because they have trained their bodies to react with grace while tapping into highly developed muscle groups. The audience only sees graceful movement while the ballet dancer feels the muscles burn. This is the picture you should remember when it comes to your online marketing practices.
You should work at them with such discipline that your site presence and marketing practices seem effortless. They seem natural because you have done the hard work to make it seem easy which is why online marketing is a discipline you should work at every day to some degree. Your audience (potential customer) is waiting to watch you dance.
Develop a Prosperity Consciousness
Take a sit and maybe it's time to do it, because that is the 1st major step that you should make if you want to have success in network marketing.
Brian Tracy Prosperity Consciousness Article
The starting point of all riches is the development of a prosperity consciousness. You must become a financial success in your thinking long before you achieve it in your reality. Both poverty and riches are the result of a state of mind, and the most important single step you ever take on the road to wealth and financial independence is the decision to change your thinking, to impress into your mind an unshakable belief that you can and will achieve your financial goals.

Online Marketing - Adsense Tips
Focus on building one or at most a handful of quality sites that are unique and useful and regularly updated. Remember that the adsense program is owned by Google so if your sites are not unique and useful then this may violate the terms and conditions of adsense. It is also a good idea to not make a site monetized solely with adsense. Add affiliate links or your own products so that your site has multiple income streams.
Learn about white hat search engine optimization to help get more free traffic from the search engines. The best way to improve the ranking on your site is to create great content that people will want to link to and share with others. Be sure to visit the Google webmaster guidelines page and make sure you comply with all of their rules to ensure that your site has long term success in the search engines. Once you have a site that is getting traffic either from the search engines or from paid sources then the next step is to ensure that your site is optimized for adsense.
There is now a new feature in the adsense program where you can add Youtube videos that have your ads at the top section of the videos so consider experimenting with that to see if it is profitable. Of course make sure to use videos that are genuinely useful and related to the topic of your site. Never sacrifice user experience even when it comes to adding adsense so resist the temptation to flood your site with ads. It is important to try to blend your ads in as much as possible with your site. The appearance of the ads should match the general theme of your site. If the links on your site are red then make the links in the ads red too. Also it is often a good idea to make the url color either black or grey. This will make the ad headline stand out more and should help to increase click through rates. Remember that you are allowed to use 3 link units and 3 ad units on every content rich page.
As long as there is enough content be sure to use as many ads as you are allowed. Make sure that you have at least one ad unit above the fold on your site. This is the portion of your site that is visible without scrolling down. It is usually a good idea to have a horizontal link unit above the fold close to the center of the page. Try to place your ads as close to the center of the page as possible since most visitors notice and focus on this section of a page. It is also a good idea to add some adsense at the bottom of each page as this will give your visitors a place to go once they are done viewing your content. Add a link unit or a 336x280 ad unit that is centered at the bottom of the page. Also make sure your site has the following links: contact us, about us, sitemap and privacy. This will help to make your site appear more legitimate. Remember that advertisers can pick and choose sites they want their ads on so you want to create a site that can draw high paying advertisers. Implement some of these tips to help increase your adsense revenue.
Freelancing Tips For Bloggers
Of course, just because it is easy to start blogging does not mean that it is easy to make money from your blog. Don't expect to see any cash in your account straight away. Blogging for profit, certainly for the equivalent of a living wage, is an activity that will take time. It would be a good idea to get started as a side job or part time activity while you are working on other freelancing options or doing your day job. However, given time and regular attention, your blog – or blogs - will grow into a viable business.
As a professional blogger, it is important that you to pay close attention to how you present yourself in your blog. There are hundreds of thousands of blogs out there, with more being set up every day. It is more than likely that there are already several hundred well established blogs that are related to the theme of your blog and aimed at a similar niche market. It is therefore vital that the look and style of your blog appeals to your potential readership. If people find your blog difficult to relate to and have trouble reading it, they'll swiftly move on never to be seen again. Here are a few tips to make your blog more user-friendly and help you gain readers who will eagerly return to your blog again and again. First, pay close attention to the format of your blog.
Remember to KISS: "Keep It Sweet and Simple"! Visitors to your blog want to understand how to navigate their way through it right from the start. Most blogging platforms have similar formats, with links on the left or right margin, and posts listed with the most recent at the top. Make sure you use the links wisely. Only put links up that are truly related to the topic of your blog. The point is to give your readers additional information on your topic. Again, the KISS rule applies: "Keep It Short and Simple"!!
There is no sense in overwhelming your readers with a mass of links to other sites; they will only click away from your blog more quickly and most likely not return again. Secondly, think carefully before choosing the background and font color of your blog. Although there are a lot of colours to choose from, it's best to stick with a light background and dark text. Studies have shown that the human brain can process dark text against a light background better than a light text against a dark background. A black background with a white text might look striking, but readers might not want to read it for long. One other thing, stick to a solid background colour instead of trying to use a pattern or design because the patterns inhibit easy reading and are, quite frankly, annoying to the reader.
Thirdly, don't just write and post your blog entries without proofreading and editing them first. Remember, there is nothing that reduces your professional authority in the eyes of your readership more than bad spelling and grammar. If spelling and grammar are your weak points, write your articles on Microsoft Word or a similar word processing program and use the spell-checker before you post your article. The Internet is still largely text-based, so make a point of learning commonly misspelled words and grammatical errors.
Also, use the "Preview"button to see how your article looks before you post it. Finally, check how it looks once it is uploaded and make any necessary edits until it is completely satisfactory. Fourth, keep your blog fresh and interesting by posting at least once a day. With so much information available on the Internet, your readers may go elsewhere if you fail to keep them supplied with interesting daily content. If you don't know what to write about, try posting a poll, a book or magazine review, a link to another blog, comment on a news story or post of list of helpful tips or useful sites related to your theme. Bear in mind that not every post has to be long and complicated; in fact, a stream of short and punchy posts is much better than less frequent but overly long articles.
For the third time, remember to "KISS" your blog: "Keep It Short and Stimulating"! And commit to posting something everyday. By following these guidelines you will keep your blog readable and interesting and that will be attractive to your visitors. The more visitors you get, the more your blog will grow in importance, and that in turn will enable you to get a profitable return from your blogging activities. Just make sure you present yourself in a professional way and keep your readers coming back for more new content each day. Within a short space of time you will have be running a profitable blog and will be ready to move on to create another, and another, and another.
Online Marketing - Reverse Psychology
Credibility for a Successful Business
We can use so many different tools to reach out to prospective clients these days. Web sites, blogs, social marketing sites like MySpace, autoresponders and eNewsletters, to name a few.
And you might be doing all the right things. You may have optimized your website, placed your sign-up boxes, and written dozens of clever subject lines for your newsletter.
If you want to sell a product, promote your services, announce an event, showcase your talents, or network, there's no challenge in getting the message out.
However, if you want that prospective client to take the next step, whether it's to join your mailing list, attend a free teleclass, download an e-book, or sign-up for coaching, it takes more than just a message, it takes credibility.
The first time a potential customer sees your message,
(1) Do they see your company as credible,
(2) Do you create enough trust to motivate them to the next step, and
(3) Will they want to keep buying from you in the future?
While it's difficult to know exactly what's going through the minds of your website visitors, your numbers and statistics will speak volumes. If you're not seeing the results you want, credibility may be an issue.
Credibility is the most important factor in determining whether a client will begin a dialog with you by providing you with their email address or contacting you with questions about your services. If your ideal client does not see you as credible, you'll miss the opportunity to work with that person."
To build credibility, work on these three things: first impressions, creating trust, and consistency.
First Impressions
Do your marketing materials look professional? Proofread for typos, replace any amateurish graphics and check for broken links. Has anything changed in your business that needs to be updated, like your phone number, event schedule or the details of your bio?
If you want to make a good first impression, add a crisp new photo of yourself. And please, use an email address that reinforces your business brand (yourbusinessname.com) - no hotmail or yahoo accounts, please!
Creating Trust
People want to do business with people whom they know and trust. This is why it is important to get prospects onto your mailing list, so that you can build a rapport, provide valuable information over time, and show them that you're a real person. So let them see pictures of your dog, and tell a story or two about vacation adventures with the family. By taking the time to create this trust, you're setting the stage for a mutually beneficial long-term relationship.
Treat all prospects as existing clients. Answer questions and take care of any customer service issues promptly. Be appreciative when people take the time to contact you - thank them and create a dialogue. A little bit of politeness can go a long way.
Consistency
A few months ago, I signed up for an email newsletter. I was impressed by the welcome e-mail. It arrived immediately after I submitted my e-mail address, and spoke of all the wonderful things I'd be getting: a monthly ezine, announcements, products, discounts for current subscribers - sounds great, doesn't it?
But weeks and months went by without so much as a peep, only a generic "you are subscribed" message every month. After a few months, I unsubscribed. It's a shame, because I was looking forward to what this person had to offer, and I may have become a customer.
This is one of my biggest pet peeves. When you promise something to your clients or potential clients, you had better deliver. Being inconsistent shows lack of organization and follow-through, which doesn't bode well if you're in the business of delivering information or performing services.
Be consistent and keep 'em wanting more!
Credibility just may be the missing link between you and a successful business. What can you do differently to enhance your credibility in the eyes of your prospective clients?
Successful Internet Marketing Business
Internet marketing is a great way to earn extra money while working in another field or it can become a full-time business. If you want to work from home, set your own hours, and earn a comfortable income, then Internet marketing may be the job for you. For those who are tired of performing the same old tasks each day, becoming an online business owner will bring many new challenges. These challenges allow you to express your creativity, use problem solving skills, and give you more control over your career in general. While you may be nervous about starting your own business, the best part is that you can begin part-time and see if it's the career for you.
Internet marketing is a broad term used to describe selling goods and services online. While you can choose to sell your own items, many people working in online marketing choose to sell goods and services produced by other companies. When you sell company products, you are only responsible for marketing the products, not packing, shipping, and handling returns. You will be paid a commission for each sale that is made through the ads you place online. In addition to choosing which companies to work for, you also have choices when it comes to the types of marketing campaigns you want to use.
Depending on the amount of time you have to put into online marketing, you can build a small website that includes links to the company website, publish a newsletter that is sent to prospective customers, pay to place ads on search engines and other websites, create a blog, join open forums to answer questions about products you sell or the industry you work for, or you can swap links with other websites in order to gain more exposure online.
Because many companies now rely on Internet marketing as a way to increase sales, you have more options when it comes to the types of products to sell. If you enjoy browsing the Internet looking for markets to sell products to, then you should look for more challenging products that cater to specific markets. But if you don't want to spend the majority of your time marketing, you should choose products that are general in nature and appeal to a variety of markets. In the end, your commitment to selling these products will determine how much you earn, but choosing products you are familiar with and products you can sell easily can make a difference.
Internet marketing continues to change as technology changes. With the popularity of social networking sites, you can now sell your products to a whole new generation of computer shoppers. You can also sell more than one product in order to generate additional income. When you take advantage of the many resources you have online, you will be able to control the amount you earn and help the company you are working for become even more successful. Internet marketing has increased in popularity as more people are finding shopping on the Internet more convenient than going to the store.
Two Proven Internet Advertising Ideas
1. Article Marketing
This means exactly what it says. You write and submit articles to market you business. The easiest way to do that is use Submit Your Article. You can submit 8 articles each month with them. They will submit your article to hundreds of directories online.
To get even better exposure for your article, Submit Your Article offers a program called "Article Leverage" which takes about 20 minute to complete. This is a very simple program where you will rewrite your article into multiple variations. It creates hundreds of unique variations which are then submitted to various article directories.
To rewrite an article you will be asked to rewrite the title, introduction, sentences within the body, the closing, and your bio box. It is easy to do because you are looking at the original and then rewriting it. I am serious when I say it is very easy to do. If you can type you can do this.
Submit Your Article offers a membership for $37 monthly.
2. Blogging
You should post short 250-300 word articles in your blog several times a month. This could be once a week, or even daily. How often depends on you. Just be consistent with it.
Hosting your own WordPress Blog or Blogger with a social bookmarking plugin in is the easiest way to promote your blog. You can quickly bookmark each blog article to some of the most popular social directories such as Google Bookmarks, Digg, Stumbleupon, and Windows Live.
This is good for search engine bait. The search engines spider these social directories all of the time. As you bookmark to them on a regular basis they will start spidering your blog more often too!
The benefit of this is more search engine traffic for the your main keyword in your blog article. Over time you can find yourself on page one of hundreds of search engine results. This is free traffic and it is very targeted traffic as well.
This is a tremendous resource for learning everything you need to know about Web 2.0 and maximizing your blog to get unlimited free traffic.
3. Hire An Article Writer
Some of you do not want to write. You may not be good at it, or you may be to busy to do it. In that case you should hire an article writer to write for you. I am always amazed at how many people will spend hundreds, or even thousands of dollars a month on pay per click advertising and yet they do not have an article marketing campaign going.
I am not suggesting to eliminate your ppc advertising campaign. But I am saying that you ad to it by including article marketing via article and social directories. This is a long term approach to promoting your internet business.
Backlinks to your website or blog from the articles you have all over the web can bring you traffic for years to come. A ppc ad is gone the minute you quit paying for it. You can view it this way. Pay Per Click advertising is great for immediate traffic and article marketing is great for long term residual traffic.
Here is the 2 ways to promote your business online. These take a little bit of your time every month. However, it is time well spent as there is nothing more important you can do than work at getting quality traffic to your website.

3 Simple Steps to Success in Your Online Internet Marketing Business
Many people who have not taken their baby steps into internet marketing are mostly self-convinced that Internet Marketing is a scam, or at best, only for the techies and internet experts who have extremely elusive methods of achieving success online. As such, ordinary folk and less technically-inclined people like themselves will not be able to succeed at all. This perception is a big mistake!
The internet is a wonderful place. The world is getting smaller and smaller, yet bigger in some respects as well. The opportunities to earn cash and make money online are growing every day, so if you would like to make some serious money, you can also learn how to make big bucks or at least earn an additional part-time income by following these three simple steps.
Step 1 - Identify Your Market Niche
A common mistake that new internet marketers make is to first create a product without having first identified a suitable target market.
Why is this a mistake? Because you may end up creating a product with little or even no demand! Or compete in a market which is way too competitive to achieve results.
It is far easier to make money online by locating a hungry and non-saturated niche market, find out what they want - and give them what they want!
Remember the mantra "Inch-wide, Mile-deep" - the more precise and well-defined your market niche, the easier to make money online. Simply because your millions are not going to come by competing with the big boys in generic niches like "make money online", but in smaller and very specific niches like "travel jobs" where the competition is much less, and the searches per day are sufficiently strong.
Step 2 - Identify a Problem or Opportunity
After you have identified your niche, the next step is to identify the main problem(s) faced by people in that narrow niche market.
Over here, the secret to success is to discover the pains and irritations faced by this distinct group of people - for example, if you are targetting the niche of "dog training", you will want to understand the problems posed to dog owners by their untrained or disobedient dogs.
You can find this out through speaking to friends and acquaintances in your market niche, reading books on the subject and doing online research.
Step 3 - Find a Solution to the Problem or Opportunity
Having identified the problem or opportunity, you can tailor-make your solution for your niche market (eg. write an ebook on dog training), and deliver the solution to them through the Internet.
You can monetize using one of the following methods online: (a) by creating content websites (ie. content publishing), (b) promoting other people's products (ie. affiliate marketing), (c) obtaining resale licenses to other people's products (ie. resale rights marketing) and (d) by selling your own products or services (ie. product creation).
Summary
The above is merely a rough guide to making money on the Internet. There's really so much more to learn and experiment as you discover the intricacies and techniques of marketing on the internet. Get started on your internet marketing career right away, and find a supportive group of fellow internet marketers and mentors whom you can grow and develop with. There is clearly no "quick-rich" solution in Internet Marketing - but "the MORE you Learn, the MORE you Earn"!
